Travel Journal: Yosemite

HOLA.

It’s been a minute.

I’m back hustling at university trying to sort my life out. Deadlines are creeping; coffee is being consumed by the gallon and yet, I find myself here… I wonder why? But that’s not important! I’m actually here to do a throwback to Yosemite!

This is actually going to be a little different to my other travel journals. Instead of chatting away as per, I’m going to show rather than tell. oOoo!

Yosemite is one those places that is hard to put into words.

Take a picture with someone in it, and they’ll look photoshopped, OR like they’ve been plopped in front of a green screen. Without sounding super tragic, it’s honestly breathtaking. The views will knock your socks off.

Although some of us were slightly hesitant about the sleeping situ’ and what it was going to be like (because, you know, camping isn’t for everyone…) I can tell you now, it’s actually ok! No lingering damp smell, soaked-through clothes or wind beating down the side of your tent in the early hours. At Yosemite, you can stay in ‘Tent Cabins’ fit with pop-up beds and a place to keep your clothes dry – what a treat! So for those budgeting like us broke students, this is somewhere to check out:
